Carmen Hijosa Homage

In celebration of Women’s History Month, this project commemorates Carmen Hijosa, a Spanish designer who pioneered a new, sustainable, and non-toxic kind of leather made from the fibrous remains of pineapple leaves. My homage icon attempts to epitomize her legacy and showcase the semi-vibrant hues her leather products extrude. There is also a monochromatic variant, and these icons can be adjusted for versatility.
